Default A Carb Prob

Ok, my KFX is at my mechanic and the problem with my KFX was that when i gave it throttle it died and when it idled it was fine. He just called and said that there was water in my bowl and that it froze overnight and bent my float (something like that). Now he is talking about getting a new carb..
Is my carb shot? Is this a problem that can b fixed without getting a new carb? thx.

Can't comment about water that froze in the bowl causing the problem...

If the float is the only thing that is damaged, it can be replaced. An entire new carb is not needed unless the body of the carb was damaged...
