i am looking for the best price i can find for a Brute Force 650I camo. the local dealer is kinds wishy-washy and want me to "make an offer" instead of just telling me what they gotta have. (and they don't even have one yet, on the way). another dealer a little farther away told me they need $7100 for the one on their showroom floor. sounds a little high to me, but it is below MSRP ($7449). i don't know what the standard is for atvs, but it is hard to get a Harley for MSRP let alone less. a search here shows some of you guys bought the BF750s for a lot less than these guys want for the 650s.
let me know what you guys have been hearing.

montyh,
When I buy mine I will def be negotiating a good price well under msrp. Any dealer that gives you a hard time then I would take your business elsewhere because if you are willing to drive a little bit to save hundreds or more....then you can get a great price. For example, look at Procycle's website. (MO) or Abernathy's (TN).....not saying that you should even think of driving there from MT but just showing that it can be done! If Montana has a lot of ATV buyers than you have to factor that in as well because you are dealing with a brand new '06 BF650 that a lot of people are interested in (with IRS this yr) and also in camo.....so the price getting closer to msrp may not be that bad because of those 2 factors alone. I'd still call a BUNCH of dealers w/n a day's drive there and back.

Also go to the "utility" section here and look at a new post from BRUTEFORCE650GUY, his post is titled, "2006 Kawasaki Brute Force 650 4X4" and he says he just bought a new one in camo as well. Looks like he is in Indiana, which may be at least fairly similar in pricing to MT (meaning that it isn't NY or CA).....I'd ask him what he paid OTD.
