The buykawasaki.com page now is showing that my BF750 VIN# is included in the "Tie-rod ENDs" RECALL.

Just checked on "buykawasaki.com", and my 05 Brute is also listed on the "tie rod end peplacement". Now just need to get it lined up with my dealer. There was no mention on the steering stem though, guess I'll ask my dealer tomorrow. I'm glad I didn't rush to replace my tie rods myself! That does suck though for everyone out there who spent there own money to replace there tie rod ends!! Do you think there is any way to recoup that money from Kawasaki?

I replaced mine with the Diamond G units and I have no regrets. The money I spent on a superior part is worth every dime. I still would do the same today.

dont flood your dealer yet. most dealers wont even know about it for a week or so. lol it will be the ends that will come on rods, and the stem.

Well I guess that I am not really sure what to do, spend the extra $$ on the diamond G's, or go get the free recall from Kawasaki, I wonder what quality the new rods and ends will be.

Funny, I was just at my local dealership yesterday, they told me they had no knowledge of this recall.

So I go online @ buykawasaki.com, sure enough there it is. I don't get it, are these people not in tune with whats

going on with there products? Don't get me wrong I love both my forces, and paid what the dealerships wanted.

Thats why I think the dealer should step up to the plate and take care of the costumer and get the problems

taken care of!!!

I talked with my dealer this morning. He sad that the only thing that they do in the Tie Rod recall is put some new washers on the ends to work as spacers. He said they DO NOT replace the actual tie rods, just put some washers in. Anybody heard different?

hollowcd, I would suggest never to let that dealer work on your quad. lol the only washers to be installed was on the a-arms. different recall. this recall just came out saturday and I imagine most dealers dont even know about it yet. my dealer is in good with the big wigs in cali and usually gets stuff before it is released. the recall I read was right off the press and it is replacing the ends, rods and steering stem. the pics showed the ends will come on the rods as an assembly.
