Im starting to not like my BF I have been having some problems with it At 923 mile on it i have had to put a cv shaft, 1 belt, 2 EBS servos, and I have a bent frame where the footpeg goes on and this ripped the plastic where it bolts to the floor board, also seems to flood slightly on realy steep stuff but thats just the nature of the beast with a carb

Well its still better then the luck I had with mine. Bought it March 03 05 and it was in the shop for 7 months. Turned out to be a cam timing issue.

I bought the BF 750 in april 2005 and all i have had is problems with the thing. With 3 hours on it the rod bearings went out of the thing. Yes it was covered under the warranty but now i'm paying for a rebuilt bike. The very next ride the cooling fan melted into a big glob of plastic and that made it over heat. lucky i noticed it before it got to hot, also covered. I had a few sucessful rides with it and then the belt broke into. Now it is sitting in my driveway blown up, because the dealer said there is dirt in the engine, all this with only 40 hours on it. I have been searching the atv forums for months now and seen how other people have "run'em like the stole them" but if i did that i would soon be caught! i have never taken this thing through anything over the tires and cant believe im having all these problems with it. I do have to say when it ran there was nothing out there that could touch it but i'm very sorry i bought the THING.

Mikeman---- "When it ran right nothing could touch it"---not true---if you think the Brute is fast, go take a test ride on an Outie 800 and then tell us what you think. Sorry you've had so much trouble with your Brute.

Dont know about hype, however Ive had my Brute 750 for 3 weeks and Ive swamped it ,rolled it down a creek bank(on top of me) and have 28 hours on it, havent had any probs other than those little mud flaps that hang out over both sides of the front, riped the right one back and tore my plastic. Other than that it dont snow here much, and it works well in all types of weather and would buy another today if I had the money.

alfredo.......if you want to trade out of kawasaki line, do yourself a favor and go by your bombardier or suzuki dealers (same thing toyeboy said). BTW, tradein is not the way to go. Myself, I wish I could have afforded to keep my P700.

hollowcd......lol

4fitty and states40, i know exactly what you mean about the torn plastic, you side swipe one tree and it tears the whole thing to ****. The floorboard tab grabs trees like a monkey. This was a bad design in my eyes. On a brand new quad i had to rivet and epoxy the plastic. It was that or buy a whole new front fender piece.

I've had my brute for a few months and have had a few probs. (tire rods, ball joints) but i beat the thing day in and day out. It hasnt had an easy ride. WFO everywhere. ( I have in my area alot of open dirt roads) And as far as mud goes I've had it up to the seat sunk, so go figure. Only prob with it now is it blows black smoke on start ups, so i might have to readjust the carbs/valves, or make sure the choke isnt sticking.
