Any Truth About 07 BF800???
I have heard that kawie is going to bump the bf750 up to 800efi and revamp the IRS for more stability. Does anyone know anything about this? My dealer friend is hush, hush about the issue, which leads me to believe something is up. He did say we will all be supprised and something about 71 stock HP............but he would not say anything else. If any of this is true, I hope the revamp the IRS have more stability. Just wondering?????

I think...THINK LOL that this "800" is in fact the new updated "Mule" type side by side they have been working on for over Two years now, since the Rhino came out.....Now with the AC Prowler, Kawasaki will not let this market pass them by, Heck they created it years ago with the Mule....I expect some surprise release this Winter or at least a word from them.....April is allways their dealer show and they start shipping their models about 30 days later......I remember when the 2002 Prairie 650 was unveiled at the April dealer show in 2001.....I bought my first one on June 6th 2001.......It would be logical also, with the Bomb 800 and Pol 800 drawing much raves from the mag's that Kaw would use this 800cc motor in both the new side x side and new Brute Force...We will have wait for spy photos I guess........

A bigger fuel injected engine would be optimal. The real problem with the BF in my opinion is the suspension. It simply handles and rides like crap. Now as I understand it with a couple of grand worth of aftermarket shocks you can make the BF handle like a champ. The thing is - you shouldn't have to. Kawasaki never should have let the thing out of the factory riding and handling like that.
Kawasaki would be wise to:
Put out a BF with EFI to cure all of the carb issues.
Maybe increase the displacement to around the 800cc mark.
Most importantly properly engineer the suspension to handle and ride well. If the engineers at Kawasaki can't figure it out on their own then maybe they can just call Elka or whoever and outsource the engineering work. They can make a BF handle great. The Kawi team evidently couldn't.
Kawasaki has all of the parts there - the motor, the drivetrain, the 4x4 system, the brakes, etc - they just need to put the whole package together and make it work.

Kawasaki already has revamp the IRS of the BF650i, you would think they would also on the next replacement for the Big Brute. I took the Survey on the Bf750 w/Kawasaki and I believe we all complained about the present IRS Suspension let-downs + a few other grips as well. If Kawie wants to keep the market in the Big-bores, then they better wake up and bring out their Updated Suspension IRS EFI 900 to set the standard.
