Over the weekend I installed a Fmf 'Q' series pipe and PowerBomb header and I'm hearing a ticking sound comming from the front header pipe area. Does anybody know what's causing this?

 

If the Ticking happens when the engines warm and shut off then its just cooling but if its coming from the header when the engines running I'm clueless.

Ya, you have a header leak at the flange. Get a new gasket and seal it up again.

 

Agree....sounds like a header leak as well. Had one on my Bayou 220...solved it by tightening up the bolts that hold the exhaust pipe to the cylinder head.

 

3 for the flange idea. typicall sound for loose headers, manifolds on cars,bikes,quads. Especially if just installed ne header.
