Default Qusestion for Kelvor?

IF you're still active on this forum, please tell me how you fixed the high pitched noise coming from the KECB area on your Kawasaki 650 Prairie you discussed on an old post with Kawi650. (If you did fix it). This one just does it at 7MPH and below but is very annoying. If anyone on here knows what it is I'd appreciate your response. Thanks

Remove the cvt cover and check the drive converter cover bearing where the KEBC fingers press against. CVT sucks in a lot of air and DUST. If the bearing goes bad, it would make that kind of noise. I think the bearing alone is not avail as a spare part. You must buy the complete cover for something like $70. Taking off that main bolt is a lot of fun, too.
