Diamond G DG6 Anyone using one?
Just got passed the 10hr mark on the 06 BF-750. I was someone surprised at all the buzzing and whirring noises this machine makes at key on and key off. I figured out that the engine breaking might be controlled by a servo of some type and if so it might be possible to defeat it. I am not a big fan of engine breaking as most of my riding is relatively horizontal and moderate speeds (25-40) off and on the gas as the washouts dictate. I was looking on DG's website and noticed thier DG6 that sounds like it'll fool whatever computer is controlling the E brake. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with that gizmo or anyother way to get around engine breaking with out doing surgery.

I have used the DG6 module on a 650 Prairie for about 2 weeks before I sold the ATV. It does eliminate the engine brake and all the noise that goes along with it. You still have engine braking to some degree, it just eliminate the servo from working. You can unplug the servo motor and stop it from working but then the 2WD-4WD light will constantly blink back and forth. With the module connected it doesn't so your 2WD-4WD lights will work correctly.
It seems as though the 4WD engagement is faster with the module connected also. They are easy to install and if you ever want engine braking all you need to do is plug it back in. I kept the module and installation instructions when I sold the ATV and will sell it if you are interested.
