corrodeing question

i got a 2005 kfx and i wanna get the 04 aluminum part an was wondering what the part number or name is and how much it might cost.

You need to say what the part is, or you could go to ronayers.com and look it up in their parts pictures, it will give you the part number, price, and you can order it there too.

i bet the coolant in your bike has eatin away the magnesium on your clutch cover where the water pump bolts on. am i right? the same thing happened to me, and i am fairly certain that it will happen to all 05-06 z-400 (kawi and dvx) owners. Kawi paid for a new clutch cover for me. but i had to pay fo labor. just take it to the dealer.

If anyone wants to see for themselves what is going on before your riding one day and your bike starts pouring coolant out of the water pump, just unbolt the water pump and turn it to the side. what you will find will suprise you.

i meant the magnesium cover and will my dealer have kawi replace it because my 6 month warranty has been up for awhile now.
