Ebay/motors is your best price, they are right around $179, good buy for what the Dyna CDI has to offer for the BF650's.

The VDI Copperhead is the way to go. Programmable so you can make your own timing maps (if you're into that). If you want plug and play, the VDI is the best CDI out there. It comes with 2 timing maps that you can change with a flip of a switch so you can have a basically stock map, and then flip a switch and you are in race mode!! It's definitely worth the money. I'm gonna get me one as soon as I pay off the holiday bills. Here's the link COPPERHEAD Click on the "Copperhead status and videos" and have a look at the vids. Pretty impressive if you ask me!!

But, for $179 for the Dyna CDI vs $316 for the VDI Copperhead and if the extra $137 is a big deal, then the Dyna CDI will do just fine for the BF650 but not for the BF750. Anyway, some really don't care or will never use the programable settings on the VDI Copperhead.

Then again, if you have other riders besides yourself that ride your wheeler, you can leave it on the first program to keep it tuned down, or you can flip the switch when you get on it and go to beat hell!! The price is an issue but for what you get for the extra money, it is definitely worth it.

I agree.
One thing I learned many moons ago is that No-one rides my 4wheeler.
