Default Jetting my Brute Force 750...Help

I have an 05 Brute Force 750 with a high lifter cdi, Big guns full exaust system and a twin air filter. I have just started the rejetting process. I am looking for a little help to save some time. Has anyone done this themselves and if so what jetting changes did you make. I am in Iowa and I have been told by one dealer that I also meed to change the pilot jet from a 38 to a 42 and another told me that I need to put three shims in the needle. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I dont know what kit you are using but I found that the guys at Dyno Jet were very helpful in the jetting process when I did mine. Give them a call and they will get you very close. Hope this helps!!!

Thanks for the info. I have decided to go with a Dial-a-Jet set up. I had purchased one and had decided to return it and just jet it using jets form the dealership. As usual I changed my mind again and decided to put on the Dial-a-Jet kit. Now my only issue is that I have a little hesitation with aggressive excelleration and I also have a small cough when I am running steady at about 5-10 mph. I think that a increase in the pilot jet will fix the agressive excelleration issue but will it fix the other. Still need a little help. Thanks

hey I dont know if this is any help but the jet from from kawi tech bulletin states the front cylinder needs a little richer due to scavaging in the exaust. rear cylinder is very close to
the can and the front is far from it . you need to balance the air flow through the jetting .
i had the kit and my bf has no more hesitation or very little to none at idle now , also they recalled all tie rods on 05 750's contact your dealer later and ride on!!

Thanks for the info. I am told by Lon at Dial-a-jet that I need to adjust he air/fuel screw on the bottom of the carb and see if that helps and if it doesn't I am supposed to shim the needle little by little until it has no desitation. Since the Dial-a-jet doesn't work at idle you have to account for that somewhere else in your jetting. Thanks for your help. I had already bent and broken my stock tie rods/ends and replaced them with aftermarket but the dealership said that they would give me the new replacements for spares if I gave them my broken stock ones to send to Kawasaki. Thanks again from Iowa.
