Which mojave is faster because the 2001 has 6 gears and the 200 has only 5 thanx for any replies



2000 Mojave

 

I don't know where you got that the 2001 is a 6 speed. I bought a 2001 on July 6th and it's still a 5 speed. In fact, I don't know of any changes from 2000 to 2001, but I'm not sure on that.

 

what is the top speed of the mojave how does it climb have u had any problems with it

 

NO changes other than graphics! I have a 2000 and I love it! I have no problems climbing hills and in fact, being that it is a smaller machine than most of the others makes it pretty easy to manuever around trees while climbing hills. Top speed runs between 50 and 54mph bone stock depending on the size of the rider.

 

My Friend has a 2001 mojave and it has 6 gears.

 

They all are six speeds if you count reverse. If you don't, then they are five speeds.

 

my friends owner manual says it has SIX and the dealer said it has SIX

 

Kawasaki.com has it listed as a five speed

 

It was a error

 

I rode one this afternoon it is no different than my 2000. 1 down 4 up plus reverse.
