Thanks again for the write up. The only concern that I have is the tippyness but from what I heard and please correct me if I'm wrong, this is cured with a set of Elka shocks, rear stablizer bar and wider wheels/tires.

I would like to set my machine up very similar to the one in the latest Dirt Wheels magazine (at least the wheel/tire combination and shocks).

To be honest with you, I like the solid rear axle (like my old Prairie 650) where you can slide the machine around but I never ridden an IRS ATV before so maybe I can test ride one first to see if I like it.

Thanks again,

Pete

But thats simple to fix and easy to install. I have had mine floating with water covering the rear part of the seat and it still kept on chuggin. The big mud tires are paddle wheeler tires, hahaha. The drive train and engine are sealed up really good. You can fit any comination of tires on them and they fit with no prob. I've been through mud about 3 ft deep and got right out of it. I haven't gotten stuck yet knock on wood. The power is awesome but I will be up grading. The suspension is a little mushy and yes, you do need more room to turn but come on, this atv is a freakin TANK!!! You get used to all this. This atv has the best engine in the market. I wish they would fuel inject it though. I want to look into some tank track kits for it if they make them. The aftermarket has a lot of parts for this quad to make it look even better. Hope you get the BF, you won't be disappointed.
I thought the tie rod issue was fixed with the 2006?

States40-yea, its fixed for the 06's but the 05's are messed up. The kits they have for the 05's depends on what half of the yr you own. The first half of 05 get a complete tie rod assembly. Thats the rod and tie rod end. The second half of 05 just get tie rod ends. Its all really stupid. Can't believe they can't make a strong tie rod/end.

Razzergreen-I haven't seen the tie rods/ends for the 05's yet. I will get a recall kit comin for mine and let you know. They are probably still weak. You say that a Honda rod and end will work on the BF750?? How are they compared to the Kawi's? I already bent a rod and with bigger tires, it don't help. I need some freakin solid rods and big ends.

mudrunner..... my buddy actually makes the tie rod for diamond-g racing. He is fixing me up with some rods, but the ends he doesn't make. The ones from the kfx700 are the same as the brute and come in diff colors. Right now i am running pbr rods on my kfx and they stand up great, but again they only make the rod. He told me that the factory honda ends are very good (250r and 400ex style) so if i can find some like that it'll be the ticket. Do you know if you can put 06 assemblies on the 05? Has anyone had experience with "tusk" rod ends, i see them in rocky mountain for a fair price.

Iron,
I was currently stuck with the decision of getting another P650 or a BF750. Since I didnt want the same thing I had I went with the BF. I dont at all regret the decision since this thing it amazing. It took me some getting used to with the riding position and handling, but I've gotten a hold of it. Now, if I went back right now and there was no BF in stock I would not think twice about getting the P650/750 again. I absolutely loved that machine. They are two completely different feels and I think you'd be happy either way.

I have seen that freakin P360 tie rods are WAYYY stronger than the P650/700 rods!! And I believe they fit the 650/700's. The 360 rods are solid and the 700's aren't. What the hell is up with that?? Guess they are tryin to keep the weight down for shipping. There must be a difference between V-Force tie rod ends and BF ends cause they have different part numbers from Kawi.
