I can start the atv fine but after a couple minutes of riding, it will lose power and eventually die. What could the problem be? After dying, the atv will be hard to start, resulting in a tow back home : ( . Any suggestions?

 

When you turn the key on, do you here the fuel pump running in tank? If so check for water/dirt in fuel.

 

Will it start after you let it sit for awhile?? Almost sounds like a fuel venting problem. Maybe a vent hose is pinched. Maybe the fuel cap isn't venting. As soon as it dies, take the gas cap off and listen for a rushing air sound.
