I've got an 06 and love it for the most part. 500 miles and I've replaced ball joints and left tire rods. But its no short of power, and a hell of a time to ride. I got the silver model, and it looks sick!

What happened to the ball joints and tie rods that made you replace them?

Default BF 750 QUESTIONS FOR POTENTIAL BUYER

I'm a potential buyer (probably within a few days) and have been calling around to all the local dealers. A couple of the dealers I mentioned the price that the NY dealership has for the hardwoods camo that has been posted on this topic and they basically have laughed and said that has to be additional charges on top of that price before it leaves the door. Tonight I am going to the dealer I would really like to buy my machine from and am going to see if they can do a 06' camo hardwoods OTD for $7200. Does this price seem reasonable or to low???? I guess if I don't seem to unreasonable I'm basically going inthere with checkbook in hand and if they say "no way" I'm walking right back out.

Wanted also to say thanks to all who have posted great information about this machine! The service manual, the ignition upgrades, the tire upgrades, etc..... All great information!! In fact I already got a steal of a deal on the ITP XTR's on 14" type 7s. Its hard looking at a set of brand new tires and rims with no machine to put them on!!

BTW....2 Scramblers for sale near Milw., WI 98' 400 4x4 2 stroke $1800 and 96' 400 4x4 2 stroke $1500 both with many extras

Pricing for Dallas, TX online at www.kawasakicityirving.com/price.html.

$6499 for a 2006 in silver (very sweet!) $6599 for either camo.
$269 freight and assembly (make ready)
$6768 OTD. That's what you can drive them away for all day long.

To that I added:
title $90
extended warranty 4 years $350
Winch $69 Installation $100

Total $7377

I'm sure there are those who paid less, but this is a deal anyone can get, not the "buddy" deal.

Put my money down on a 06' hardwoods BF750 last night. paid $7200 OTD but then started adding goodies. Went with the $69 winch and mount kit and the 14" type 7 ITP XTRs. When the smoke cleared it came to $7600 and change. Now I'll be saving my pennies to add the VDI ignition. I'll be picking it up Wednesday.....

Kickerz,

If you get a coolant leak it is most likely at the thermostat. Apparently someone was asleep at the plant and forgot to tighten one of the clamps on the "y" pipe that is on the engine side of the thermostat. A phillips head will do the trick. Ask the dealer to check it when you pick it up if you like. There have been several in Dallas that got delivered with that clamp loose.
