Other than a loud pipe what are some nice upgrades for the motor a person could do? Just bought a set of mud-lites and also a k-n filter.

A aftermarket ignition from Dyna or VDI would be a good addition...at the
very least maybe a Moose or HL module.

If you aren't going to be racing or anything I would get a Moose module. It gives you that extra lowend and midrange power you want and only cost around $100, compared to in the $200's for the other CDIs.

I have a few questions. First I have an 05 BF with the replacement tie rods. I also have a high lifter module. I did feel some power gains from it. Has anyone installed the dynatek module along with the high lifter? If so, were there more gains in performance? The high lifter was more low end and midrange. After 50 or so it seems to flatten out and takes a while to top out at 62 to 65. I do have 27 in light foot tires on aluminum rims. It does of course accelerate faster with the stock tires. But either way 65 is the fastest I have had it.

I got 73mph on my 05 Brute the other day, this was the speedo reading. Only mods I have are VDI and twin air filter. The VDI is awesome.

Mine has gone 72 on a gps.with a Muzzy full pipe Moose mod and Jet kit.I havent had it out (on top speed runs) sence I put the cams and carbs in it.Now Im tinkering with a turbo for so when Im finished Ill let you know how fast it is then. But the largest felt gain came from the Moose mod.
