Brute upgrades?
Stormseeker,
I went with the VDI Copperhead CDI over the Dyna CDI. They both do close to the same thing and both are plug and play, no splicing or cutting wires. The difference is the Copperhead from VDI has the ability to hold and run two maps. One can be set for 87 octane and the other can be set for 91. Or you can set one map for lower elevations and have another map that will work a little better at higher elevations. The Copperhead also has leads which you can use for various things, one of which can be used for a tachometer. The Dyna CDI can only hold one map with no ability to adjust anything. The Dyna also had really bad failures in the initial production runs. I have heard the quality issues are better, but with electronics I am always a little leary until I see a good quality track record established.

you know the copper head has good advantage with two maps and tach wire. I read the new dyna also overrides the belt lite for full power, does the copper head do that as well ??? if so that would be the module to use, also it is less expensive , sounds like it is good unit.
