Default Slip on and filter question

PowerHouseTA9448,

Best thing to do is, do the upgrade and take plug readings.

White Plug = Lean

Black to Dark Brown Plug = Rich

Tan to brown Plug = Right On

SB.

Default Slip on and filter question

You would probably not melt down your engine but it definatley would not be good on it if you didn't rejet. An aftermarket filter and exhaust are made to help your engine collect and expel air more efficently. Because of the extra air moving you have to add more fuel to see any advantage from your mods. If you don't rejet and add your mods anyway you will probably actually lose power.
