Default popping through carbs rich or lean?

My wheeler is popping (small back fire or hic up) through the carbs at around a 1/4 throttle. I know this is my needle I was just wondering if I needed to go richer or leaner? It runs better the warmer the engine is and if the motor is hot and your drag racing its not really noticeable. If your slow cruising trails or pleasure riding you'll notice. With all of my mods the engine still makes tons of power, I'm just tired of the hic-up. I know I should have fixed it whenever I installed the dynojet kit but to be honest I got it to where it would run extremely well at wide open throttle and then I just got lazy. I can jet it myself it anyone knows which way to go it will save me some time. Thank you any helps appreciated.

just take it to a good shop and let them do it,it shouldn't cost to much or take to long.
does you wheeler(country a$$ ) pull pretty good , maybe if you had a waverunner behind it it would work better!!!

the guys at the shop i go to say that always helps.!

Kawiking I know which shop you go to. If I took it back there it may wind up with waverunner parts in it Oh yea by the way this slowfatboy was giving you all you wanted today. And that's with my heavy tires, spottin you over 100lbs and my WHEELER poppin KAWIQUEEN. That's ok make fun while you can, maybe you should ask you wife for permission to buy more hopups.

Fastfatboy

First determine your air cleaner is clean and not over-oiled.
Then ,Check/adjust your mixture screws, turn it out a 1/4 turn more after engine is warm see if popping goes away. Cold temps tend to want a more/richer fuel mixture. Keep in mind warmer temps will neccitate turning mixture screws back in.

You could also order/install that 730 or 800 Kit from Fundy. I'd bet $5 it would stop ALL the teasing

i think if it is poppin on acceleration, it's too lean, if it's popping on deceleration, it's too rich. pull a plug and look at the business end. if it's light or white on the inside, it's too lean. if it's dark brown or black, it's rich.

tires and 100lbs, is that all you got? it sounds like you need to lose (sorry you know how to do that) the bottle and look for a tit!! i have a hurt back,at least 25lbs of mud wind in my face , sun in my eyes and i still had enough to show you my pet birdie(i know you enjoyed that!!).

you need to fill that bottle so when i get these cams ,piston and springs in you'll stay close enough to see which way everbody went.

by the way TWEET TWEET!!!!you know im saluteing you.
