To any or all that reply, how would you rate the way that you ride and take care of your quads. I would also like to know what you ride and your age.

I am 30, ride the Honda for mostly puttering and chores. It has over 500 trouble-free hours on it except for the battery. The Polaris gets the heavy work and high speed bumpy stuff. It has been trouble free for 260 hours/3400 miles. Mainly my dad drives the Honda & 60 yr olds are not too rough on things as far as speed & flying over bumps go. I do all maintanence on both, so I consider them to get equal care. The Polaris is also 4wd so it goes out in the mud.

Im 43 yrs young, ride alot of trails,I like hill climbing and mud to.In my older age,im finding that I enjoy the laid back wildlife/trail scenery more and more though.

I own a 00 Xplorer 4x4 with 26 inch Mudrunner tires completely around it.I have a few other mods on it to.Its one bad a$$ mudder and I love to show its mudding ability off once in awhile. Its also a great work horse for hauling in firewood.

I also own a Honda 98 250cc Recon,it is all stock. My wife and daughter ride it most of the time. Its just a fantastic second quad to own.

Nobody takes better care of their quads then myself.Simply put,my quads never get put up dirty.Im also very strict on maintenance. Both quads stay in my pole barn yr around.I have the luxury of heat in there in the winter time to.My wife is OFTEN heard saying,

''I WISHED I WERE A QUAD''

I am 37 years old, my wife 42,little man is 8-3/4 the 3/4 matters to him. We have a 1997 Yamaha Badger 80, 1999 Bayou 220, 1999 Lakota, 1986 Honda 250 fourtrax(bought new, needs plastic, battery and carb cleaned to be back on the trail this winter.)My wife rides her about 4 times a week to the mailbox or to the tank to fish and follow little man. I try to ride everyday about 45 minutes. I make a loop around mine and my parents place. Little man sometimes goes with me, but mostly like to ride on the track i built. Little man rides well for his age. Pretty careful, has tipped it over 3 times in four years. Never hurt, always wears protection. I sure it won't be long before he will be starting to ride hard. I thought i was rough on my four wheeler, but i am still on original tires brakes, chain etc. I do all the fluids myself monthly. I use sythetic. I had my Lakota jetted, and a new cam put in. Not a mechanic had to have it done. Check the levels before we ride, the 220 uses a little oil but does not smoke. These machines seem pretty tuff. I read the forums and see lots of problems with all quads, never had any. We don't ride in mud, i think that might have some to do with it, just my guess.

I am 15 ride a TRX250r and it gets the tranny fluid check before every ride.It also get chain tension and most off the nuts and bolts on the front end retightened.IT also get the air filter cleaned regularly. It runs awesome and the only prob is something is wrong with the spider on the axle.

My dad and my sister ride our 97 300ex.IT gets it oil checked before every ride and airfilter gets cleaned regularly.the chain tension is checked and usaully U have to air up a tire or 2.

I ride both machines hard and neither really have broke.(never blew one up)I did break the shock on my 300ex I think that had something to do with 41 foot doubles.Or my freind flipping it 3 times at 55 mph!!!!!

OUr blaster cylinder is back at the shop and plan on geting the new topend back thursday.I am also getting a new air filter.
