Default 2006 Brute Force Spindle Failure

Has anyone experienced a rear spindle breaking? I was at Coal Creek this weekend on trail 16 on my new bike....62 miles on it......I went around a right hand curve and the right rear spindle broke away from the lower control arm.....the tire went up into the fender and the axle came out.....rendering the bike useless. My buddy had an 800 bomb and we could not even tow it. I went 9 miles back to the truck and got the rhino and my tools....I go back and take off the tire and the upper control arm and drag the bike back nine miles to the truck.....though some of the roughest terreign in the southeast....I am pissed to say the least!
