is the BF750 supposed to be quite a bit louder than the prairie 650? i just traded my prairie 650 in last week and there is alot of difference in the sound of the two. you wouldnt really think so.

another thing, when you hammer my BF750 on take off it is cutting out. it does exactly like when you had it in reverse and hammer it without the override button pushed in. any suggestions? its just irritating because i cant even pop wheelies because it cuts out and bogs down so bad!!!

The cutting out just may be fixed by the air-screw but to be sure, go to the Nyroc Forums and under "Tips" on the BF750.
When other's follow me and the Brute, which is all they do is -Follow- I always gets comments about me modding my Exhaust BUT I always say, "Nope, that is the Stock Set-up".

The excessive backfiring I had on my '05 BF750 before getting the needle update (per the TSB) done blew out the gasket material (if that's what it's called?) where the muffler clamps to the pipe. That made it quite a bit louder, and also made it run even worse. I just loosened up the clamp, repositioned what was left of the gasket and then tightened it down really good. Hasn't been a problem since.

no, i actually have a brand new 06. every since i bought the thing 2 weeks ago when you hammer on it from a dead stop in high or low gear it cuts out and backfires out the exhaust allowing me NOT to do wheelies!! STUPID THING!!! i traded my prairie 650 in on it and when i had it man i could wheelie all day long at will. i took my BF750 to the shop today to have them do the first service and told them about the carb situation and they said that they would look into it at no charge (warranty) another thing i noticed was when i was out riding saturday i came up out of a shallow creek up on the bank and when i went to go back into the creek down a STEEP embankment the front brakes made a weird noise and were really spongy. i barely got slowed down enough and about wrecked it. i had that prairie 650 for almost 4 years and did ALOT of creek riding with it and only had to put on one set of front brakes. i'm sorry but i'm starting to regret trading. i just hope this thing gets better for me. i either HAD a good prairie or i got a bad BF750!!!
