Glad to hear that Kawasaki finally did the right thing by agreeing to fix the quad...they are lucky that you didn't bother to sue them for all of the physical injuries you had as a result of this problem.
Good luck to you and happy trails...

Good deal, glad Kawasaki came around on this. They seem to be having their problems. I'm still waiting for my recall parts. Guess they have had about 4 different models recalled over the last year which must be overwhelming them. Hope your leg heals well. Take care, Dan

Yea, Kawasaki has been screwing up alot of things lately. I work at a Kawi/honda dealership and i build alot of motorcycles and kawasaki sometimes sends the wrong part, two of the same or too less of parts. Also, for their new VN900 motorcycle, they don't even give any instruction as where to put some random parts, such as the helmet holder and the tool box. They barely have any storage on them, unless you ordered the VN900 D6F (With saddlebags, backrest and windshield).
Kawasaki also has too many recalls on their line of ATV's. Steering knuckle recalls, a-arm recalls, and more problems. My Kawi is recall-free as far as i know, luckily.
We also had someone come in with a 2005 Brute 650 4x4, and the front axle bashed in the engine and did some nasty damage. And get this, HE ONLY HAS 52 KM ON IT!!! This guy got a broken arm from this accident and will have to spend thousands on his already new ATV.

Thanks for the informative post.
I had an on the job injury back when I was young like you, and I had the same attitude 'I don't want anything but what I is necessary'. Well I learned that what you have coming is all medical expenses, lost work time, and any other damage to your atv repaired.
Trust me on this one, nice guys get shafted, unfortunately. Take it easy.
