Default Has anyone used Quikaluminum?

I have a small crack in the housing of my chainsaw. The housing is cast aluminum and may not be a structural concern. I was thinking of using this stuff to seal the head of the crack just in case. Has anyone used this? How strong is it?

I have used "JB Weld" on a number of similar projects with good results. Google up their website and look at the various products they offer. They also have a toll free number, or at least used too, and will give you advice on how to proceed with the repair. Very helpful company to deal with.

Just- take the time to take it apart and clean, clean, clean the mating edges. Should last longer than the rings

p.s. clean, clean, clean
