#1
Hello everyone! First off, I am new here, just converted over from sleds, been a bad season! Anyway. I've been reading the threads on here for the past two months and have seen alot of info in regards to the KFX700. Well this past weekend one found it's way into my garage! I picked up and '04 in orange with limted use. Got it for $3700 and I wanna thank everyone for the comments in the threads on here. I can't say enough how freaking happy I am with this machine! It's down right awesome! I'm sure as time progresses I'll have questions and look forward to hearing from all your experiences!

Welcome to the forum and have fun with your kfx 700. When you get ready for mod recomendations just let everyone know. In the hands of a good builder all the kawi v twins can be made very strong. Just for grins when you get time go to fundy powersports web site and check out some videos. Speed costs money, how fast do you want to go?

Congrats on your new Kawi.
You will love this quad. Before doing any mods, first thing first, do basic maintenance/check if already not done yet. Here are a few I recommend.
1. Valve clearance check/adj.
2. Belt deflection check/adj.
3. Wet brake oil change.
4. Swingarm bearing regreasing.
5. Air cleaner servicing - use real tacky filter oil not engine oil that runs down.
Invest on a genuine Kawi service manual to do those jobs. And, of course, you should have already changed engine oil/filter and plugs (NGK CR7E).
After all these, your 700 will run like new.
