belt deflection easy to check?

Default belt deflection easy to check?

i lost my manual and was needing to check the belt. i hear its pretty easy. how is it done? thanks

easy, put a strait edge from the top of the belt and push down in the middle. YOu should apply about 13 pounds of pressure but you can just press down hard measure the slack. My 360s slack is around 22-27 mm. It might be different with you 650. Check out nyrocs site if you want better instructions. www.atv.dnsalias.com

Default belt deflection easy to check?

The BD spec on '05 BF650 is also 22 - 27 mm at 13 lbs of force applied in the middle. I usually set at the lower side of spec so that the adjustment can last longer. Just make sure ATV doesn't creep at the idle rpm.
