Anybody put a lift on their Bayou? I was just wondering if it's worth the money.

Bayous have lots of clearance to start with; if you use extra-wide front tires, you may need SPACERS instead of a lift kit.

My thoughts: larger-diameter tires fit o.k. already; a lift kit would provide marginal advantage to a Bayou (I'm speaking of the 300's; can't say about the 220's).

I haven't come across any such thing. I have owned a Bayou300 for several years, with larger 25" wheel on the rear(but you will definately need the spacers). However this only slightly helped the rear, and did nothing for the front........so good luck.

I did a 2 inch shock lift from hi lifter, put on 25 vamps with 1.25 lugs put 2 washers per wheel stud on frt,lug nuts still had thread showing,Shaved steering stop bolts.Bad Bad mean and nasty. Use low range more often or beef the clutch up. both do not hurt .300 4x4 steering mod has ramifications if you blast a rock or ditch with the wheels turned lock to lock (could bend steering componets) Lift ride or roost

also i used stock rims and didn't go xtra wide on the tires turns shorter and vamps can destroy any terrain travtion is no problem at any offered width. Xtra width is just for the ego. mike
