Default handlebars on the brute

I'm in the same boat, wasn't sure what to get.
After reading a few other post on this subject on a few other forums, I ordered the Pro-taper Answer Racing CR High handlebar from rockymountainatv, then I ordered the Rox 2" Riser w/pod mount from ROX, hopfully the 2" riser will be enough but ROX does offer a 3.5" riser as well.
Haven't had a chance yet to install this new set-up and I won't be able to do the install till later in April, way too many things going on right now, like Moving..

You can check my thread in KR under the Prairie section. I will be ordering parts tomorrow and installing parts once my new TG P700 comes in. Probably mid-end of April. I'll post my ups and downs with pics.

CamoKVF700:
Thats great it will be interesting to see the change out handlebar on a Prairie 700.
I'm not sure if that will help us Brute owners, being the Brute sits the rider up higher vs the Prairie so what might work perfect for the Prairie may not be perfect for the Brute. I too will report on my Handlebar change over and if the 2" ROX riser was the way to go or not, if not then I will order the 3.5" Riser, at least ROX gives Fast & Excellent Service.
I've never cared for the handlebar on my Brute anyway, so anything will be an improvement. I have done my homework on this Subject with the Handlebars, so hopefully it will work out the way I am planning it to.
I also want to install a Steering Stabilizer on my Brute.
Quadnutt:
You will be needing what they call is a "fat bar handlebar", some have the crossbar but for our needs and b/c of the Pod instrument mount, the crossbar is out. They are many to pick from when it comes to handlebars, I went with the Pro-Taper Answer Racing series b/c it was the recommended handlebar for the BF750s. I then went with the CR high bend b/c of others who have already done the upgrade on this handlebar change-over and they both stated that they felt the CR High worked out perfect. So far, not too many BF owners have switched out the handlebars, so you are limited to what Is the best set-up to go with.
