v force clutch noise?
just got a 05 kfx 700 left over bout a week ago ive been hearing a clankn noise in clutch every once in a while not all the time but when it happens its loud anyone know what this may be i put an epi pink spring in it but it made the noise before and after i talked to dealer and he said because i put the spring in it may not be a waranty thing now i told him it made the noise before and i dont see how changing the outer primary spring has anything to do with the inner clutch noise any thaughts?

I can think of 2 things:
1). Drive Converter Buttons
There might be too much gap between the button (or called "shoe") and the spider. The spec is about 0.3 mm max. Use your feeler gage to check.
2). Hourglassed Belt
Have you got stuck before or pulled something real heavy? Check the consistency of the width of the belt.
If above 2 check out OK, remove the drive converter from the end of the crankshaft and run the engine. If the noise is still there w/o the drive converter, then the problem is within the crankcase.
