No, looks like you would have to go with a kfx 400, or buy a older prairie 300, but believe me jumping from a 250 to 400 isnt THAT HUGE of a gap, u definately need to learn your limits though and limit that throttle till u learned it, but i went from a bayou 220 to a kfx 400 just fine =)

the mojave was a pretty quick little machine. i'm pretty sure it'll take a 250ex down easily, as it will run about next to a 300ex depending on the rider. if you're a kawasaki guy and want a mid size, one of those Mojaves shouldn't be hard to find. Well when im about 15 ill think of that.... right now im 5'4 and weigh about 115 to 120. But my dad has always told me that Hondas are the best on maitenance... not just looks. And it would be better if I would jump to a bigger size than a 250 again. The only problem I dont think it would be easy to drive a manual with the clutch and everything......

i had a bayou 220 back in theday (think it was a 97... most fun light ute ever~!!) but honestly, the Mojave is a whole different machine. Dual overhead cams, liquid cooled, the little things really ripped for their size. their about as reliable as a honda 300ex tho, and the EX may suit you fine. another way to look might be a Kawasaki 300 Lakota spot if you can find one. those were essentially mojave chassis with a 300 auto-clutch motor in them. that might be exctly what youre after.

sounds like the lakota sport sounds like just what you are looking for....they dont have the mid range power that the mojos have but they have a toutch more low end grunt because its based off a utility bayou engine........they are a little on the heavy side but besides that they are great quads and is quicker then a z250 and 250ex and is just a bit slower then a 300ex and blaster but once you lighten it a bit they are right there with a ex and blaster........

id say either go with a mojave or lakota if your a kawie guy...both great quads and got a great amount of power for there sizes. Believe me goin from your bayou to a mojave or a lakota is a big difference youll notice it, i got a bayou and after driving it and then hoppin on my kota its a totaly different ride. Dont get me wrong the bayou got a decent amount of power for its size but youll see a difference on a mojave or lakota. Its probably gonna be easlier to get your hands on a mojave than lakota cuz how rare lakotas are and you shouldnt have any problems learing how to do a clutch... Few of my friends gots a 250ex and a z250 and my kota eats em apart no problem. good luck man with whatever u end up gettin
