You can go quite big with the Brute. I have heard of 29's clearing the fenders. 26 or 27 seems to be the best size for this machine. If you go any bigger you will have to have more offset on your wheels or install spacers so you don't get rubbing when you turn. I have 26's with stock rims and they rub on my winch just a little bit. A 1" spacer would probably take care of my problem.

I have 27in ITP Mudlites on my 05 Brute 750 and have been very happy with their performance. They have been a great all around tire for the kind of ridding I do,, I have 27x10-12 for the front and 27x12-12 in the rear mounted on ITP type 5 wheels,, See like below for pictures,,

Brewtalbogger, You came to the right forum dude for this question. I just put 27" Super Grip Mud grip tires with Super Grip Cast alluminum polished rims on my BF750. They have almost the exact same tread as the ITP Mudlite tires. My friend has a set of Mudlites and you cannot tell the difference if you just looked at them. You can tell the difference from stock. If your going to buy tires your better off just getting a set of rims with them. I found a great deal on my tires. I bought my tires from a dealer out of Las Vegas. I got the tires and rims for $515.00. The shipping was free and I got them in a day. YOu cant beat that. They came with center caps and lugs. THe best thing is if Im not mudding, I just slip on my stock tires and wheels and cruise the country roads.

Here is the website. Just ask for the Retired Firefighter, and tell him The firefighter from Indiana sent you! He will give you a good deal!

Here is the Website: http://www.xopco.com ITs called Extreme Outdoors.

The only problem the brute has as far as clearance goes is the rear tires rubbing the gas tank with stock wheels... If you get aftermarket wheels this isn't an issue and it can fit all the way up to a 30" tire no problem.

Not sure exactly what size tire starts rubbing the stock wheels...

I've been looking for tires for my p360 for a couple of weeks. I was looking to go with ITP 589s. At first I was going to go with just tires, and prepared to spend up to $400 for two 26-9x12, for the front, and two 26-12x12 for the rear.

After talking with John Perry at http://www.tires4fun.com, i ended up getting the 4 tires I wanted mounted on ITP type 5 aluminum black rims (the type 5s have the tire bead protector on 'em), with center caps and lugs for $610 delivered. I'm expecting them by Saturday. :-)

This "big wheel kit" totlaled 680 when I priced it on the website. The next best price on ebay I could find was $645.

You'll have a hard time finding a guy that's more knowledgable about ATVs and tires than john.

Tell him Mike from Virginia told you about him.

Bforce,

Does your brute sit any wider with the SG wheels and tires?
