Default Over a 100hr and no lights on?

I have a P700 and I was ready to do that whole belt reset at 100 hrs, but nothing has happend. Is there a reason why it hasn't come on yet? I'm still going to check the belt and everything, but I was woundering why nothing has happend.

What you are experiencing is very common among Kawi riders with the Check Belt lamp on their quad. The hour meter in the digital meter is counting the key-on time, NOT the actual engine run time. The 100-hr belt time is counted by another clock inside the igniter which counts the actual engine run time. So, there are 2 clocks on the quad and the digital display hour on the meter is always greater or equal than the hour counted by the igniter (meter clock hour >= igniter clock hour). The reason is that meter hour is counting even just with the ignition key at ON position with the engine OFF, but the igniter clock is not counting if engine is not running. So the moral of the story is that try not to leave the key at ON position if engine is not running.
Your belt light should come on soon.

I think the actual belt timer is active at 500rpms or more, thats the case on the 2006 650V2 cat anyways
