i need to replace my rear shock. what options do i have to choose from for one? are there any shocks off of other quads that fit? i don't want to spend a fortune on this, but any thing would help

 

250r shock will fit...requires alittle work to make it fit but its a cheap and nice shock...id look on ebay and see wut you can find theres always a ton of them on there.

 

ya vunit is right about the 250r shock....it is just about the only one that will fit good without any modification but it will make ur lakota sit a bit lower.....if you could save up for a while youd be better off going ith a shock thats made for a mojo or lakota....check ebay often...you can usually come across some good deals on there......

after lookin on ebay at 250r shocks i have noticed a difference in them between years so what one do i need

 

Whats the Difference between the Lakota and the Mojave?
Also has any one tried to put a 350x shock in a Mohave yet?

 

I am in the same situation as sdimepanch but I also want to replace the fronts as well. Does anyone know what year of the 250r rear shock will work? Also, are there any shocks from other atvs that will fit the fronts? Ebay seems to only have stock lakota/mojave shocks. Also, is that a suzuki 250r or a honda 250r (both have a 250r, one is lt 250r and the other is trx 250r)
