I am saving up for a Muzzy exhaust for my '05 Prairie 700. They are expensive, but I think the best. Muzzy also makes a complete exhaust for the Brute Force. Check it out at muzzy.com. The Muzzy is all stainless steel. For maximum power a v twin engine needs equal length head pipes which the Muzzy has. The noise level is adjustable from 96 to 100 decibels with quiet core or spark arrestor installed or removed. The Penland slip on will give you a little more power than stock. Don't know the decibel rating of the Penland.

I have no complaints about the Penland system on my BF650. I've had it for over a year now and it's been submerged, caked and baked and all that stuff they tell you not to do. Just make sure you realize that it will be a bit louder than the Utility series (I'm not sure on the specifics). Also make sure you ask if you are getting a quiet core with it as you might find some cases where you want to run it. As far as the sales pitch barracuda just gave on the muzzy , it sounds like a great system too. I don't think (IMO) you will notice the power difference that equal length headers will give you over the "regular" full system that HMF offers. It's all in how much $$$ you want to spend.
