what the heck is a klemm research pipe

 

Klemm Research made pipes for 2-strokes in the late 80's to early 90's (as far as I know), but I haven't heard anything about them in recent years. It's a good bet if I somehow destroy it, it's not going to get replaced. I haven't yet been able to determine if it's a top-end or midrange pipe. I can tell you it's definitely not a torque pipe!

Scottbl99....10 years of racing abuse!! Have the frame or swingarm ever cracked?

 

the frame cracked once by the lower foot peg on the right side , so i had it gusted at welding shop as well as the front lower frame rails under the rad. As faras the swing arm omg thats a never ending battle even got a LONESTAR swingarm and that cracked after the first race it had thin metal so i had to get that strenghted it at the shoch bracket.

Do you have any picts of your T4 racer?

 

I am buying an 88 T4 off my brother. Right now it just has works rear shock and FMF pipe, K&N, shockwears, AC mudscreen bumper and grab bar. On the way, 310cc kit, 38mm mikuni, nerfs, eliminator +4 axle, +2 a-arms, and front works suspension. Is in excellent condition, and i love it.

hey scott, when i saw you racing your tecate it was so damn fast i had to have one. i finally found an 88' for $2600, after bringing home my 2000 banshee earlier that day . either i wasn't meant to have one, or my timing sucks. still keeping my eyes open for a project tecate 4.
