Default KFX 400 Front Bearings & Steering

Hello, I was wondering if you people could help me out.

When I turn my bars there is a little play before the wheels will turn. I tried to tighten the nut on the bottom for the steering stem but it did not help. How much play should there be before the wheels turn? Do I need to rebuild the steering stem bearings or whatever is in there?

Also, When I grab either front wheel and move it side to side there is also some play. I tried to tighten the hub nut but this didn't help. Should there be any play or do I need to rebuild the hub set up?

I checked my friends Blaster and he had no play in the steering or the wheels.

Thanks.

Sounds like your tie rod ends are a little wore.

Your bearings are toast. Replace the steering stem bearing and both wheel bearings. All the bearings aren't that expensive and its not very hard to do.
