Moose or Dynatek

If you want the best performance go with the VDI Copperhead. The Copperhead is a programmable CDI that advances your timing, disables your belt limp mode, reverse limiter, and contains many other features that will just have to read about. The Dynatek is a very similar CDI, it also advances your timing, disables the limp mode and belt limiter without the programability, but it is a great performance upgrade if you don't have the motivation to create your own timing programs. Both of these CDI's advance the timing all the way through the timing curve. The Dynatek advances the timing from the stock 28* to 33* and the VDI advances the stock timing from 28* to 34*, but is adjustable up or down. 36* is a popular setting for the most horsepower on the VDI.
The Moose module just fools your ATV into disabling the low speed retard allowing for a quicker acceleration. It only works in the very low end (1-10 MPH)
For the extra money the Dynatek is probably the way to go. But, if you have the money and are into tinkering and getting the very most out of your ATV then the Copperhead is what you need.

Man you are good at answering these question.
IF you go into deep water or mud you might want to stay away from the VDI Copperhead. I have been hearing they are not water friendly.
My Dyna should be in Thurday. I ordered it at dynaonline.com for my BF650. I have a MOOSE module now. It is a great part for the $90 but I wanted more mid and top range power too.

A little over $220 from dynaonline.com for the non-programable. They make a programable also for around $330.

A big favor, if you could, let me know how you like it, because i would just as well buy that one also, instead of the programmable one. You can PM me or just let me know somehow, i would really appriciate it. Good Luck!!!
