Default Dalton spring question

I just put a dalton blue spring in my 04 V force and it was rather dissapointing. My brother and I raced his bone stock v force against mine which has Yoshimura duals, K&N filter and a Big Gun Over Rev CDI ,and his ran way closer with the dalton blue than it did with the stock spring. I mean I still beat him by a ways but, not nearly as far as the stock spring did. Shouldnt the blue spring help for drag racing? Just kinda confused. Any opinions would be interesting to think about.

Dalton blue will give u a little more then stock,,,go with Dalton Orange-blue or a comet black,,,,they have more stall,,and more shiftout,,,I run a coment black,,,,its good for trail riding,,and drag racing,,,the stock spring as o-stall and 122-shiftout,,the dalton bule as 3-stall and 155-shiftout,,almost the same,,,the Dalton Orange blue got 22-stall and 167-shiftout,,,and the comet black,,I think it was,,38,stall and 171-shiftout,,,if u go with something thats got more stall to it,,,it will rev,,up more before it take off,,,that is what u are looking for,,one that got more stall to it for drag racing,,,,,,I like the comet black,,,i think u will take him with that one,...Hope this will Help.;
