Default busted brute

hey need some help, i got a 06 brute 750i and i ripped the right rear inner drive shaft boot the bearings are clicking and binding up and i need to replace it quick. Just wondering where i could get a new driveshaft pretty cheap without sacrificing durability. I talked to the dealer just to see how bad they would charge me for a new one and they wanted 455$ just for the axle not including install or anything else. Im even considering rebuiling it if that is possible to. Any help would be greatly appreciated

yea, there are some on ebay. $180 or so. you might also be able to get a rebuild kit. one of the banner sponors at nyrock's site is an axle shop. worth a look.

If you're going to buy an axle why not spend the 300-325 and get a gorilla axle since its going to be way tougher than oem? Think gorilla also has rebuild kits as well but i'm not sure of the prices.
