Does anyone have any tips for successfully mounting the Maier universal windshield on an 06 BF 650? I do not mind so much that you have to cut the plastic cover over the handlebars, but how in the heck are you supposed to fit all of the mounting hardware on the handlebars? There are so many cables and stuff that I do not know how to make this work. I called Maier and they said it was truly universal. Buyer beware I guess.
