dealers suck. go to highlifter and get aholed of mudcom he will help you out. jetting is tricky dealers have no ideal or , kawieriders .com . do not ride till fixed .you will smoke the pistons

 

How can i tell what kind of damage may already been done Really don't know hoe long been riding like this just noticed the a week or so ago when riding at night with some buddys The oil is clean Is their sny other way to tell if any damaged has occured other than tearing the motor apart (which I have never done) and i don't have tones of money to be paying dealer to fix if any thing is wrong and it turns out they will not cover the cost Even though it is their own fault This really gets me fired up Just waiit till i Call dealer tommorow and he tells me i will have to pay to get checked out!!!

 

Took Brute Back to dealer today and the mechanic that came out and i talked to acted like the pipes glowing was normal I told him that it should not be normal and he said that they would check it out and maybe give it a little more gas on the top end aroound 58-60 because this is where it seemed to sputter a little just does not seem to be giving all it should. Since i normally ran about 63,65 before the needle replacement I even put a buddys dyna fs cdi on mine and raced him only got to about 62 the only thing he had was my stock cdi and his moose modular left on his and he still blue my doors What is going on!!!

 

Maybe the dealer technician is right. If they didn't seem too worried about it, then that is good news. If you are out of warranty then it would have been in his best interest to say, "Oh man, you really screwed this up and it will cost 598 bucks to fix." I might view this outcome as positive for now.

 

Well it got me thinking but my buddys brute's pipes does not glow like that and to tell you the truth all the other guy's quads doesn't either. maybe i should look into some good insurance in case it burst into flames!! THe engine over heating light does not come on so maybe it is nothing. all the bad stuff it could be gets me worried

 

Keep researching the problem here, on kawiriders.com, nyroc, etc. Heck, see if you can drop an email to that Kissofdeath guy or Nyroc and see what they think. They should reply to emails or on the forums as they do not have rock star status yet.

Hope this helps. When in doubt, I wouldn't ride it if you even remotely feel you cause damage/further damage. Not worth a thousand dollar repair bill.

 

mudcrazze at hight lifter .com will help you out .this is not good for the motor it is runing lean .like i said befour dealers no sh## i,ll see if i can get her to go to kawie riders and post
