i heard the brute was detuned from the factory because they were twistin drive shafts, or something like that..... but stock vs stock 800 bomb will take it, i've seen it done.

They're detuned from the factory because they're power houses out of the hole and your average rider would flip it over on top of themselves.

Though overall the bomb 800 is still faster against your average brute... apparently the brute(with cdi) can take the holeshot but the bomb just comes to rips out in the mid range.

I just purchased a Moose Power module for my 750 brute, I figured for all I use it for this was probly the cheapest and easiest mod for know, and WOW, I did not expect that big of a differance on the low end.

I raced a new 800 with my 840 brute and took it off the line by 4 links and they stayed right there all the way up. Had to buy the outty after that. Think of how fast it will be with mods.

guys...

i have an outy 800 and my buddy has the bf piped, jetted and cdi...

not for nothing...i kill him everytime by minimum 5 lengths...kinda fun

you cant go wrong with either one..those were my only 2 choices when buying and i went with efi...thats the only reason

plus how often do you really need to race..we spend more time in the mud and having fun
