Default 06' bf750i vs bombardier 800

I recently purchased an 06 750i brute force and I was just curious as to what I would have to do to my machine to out run a bombardier 800 in a let's say 200 yard drag race?

From what I have read, get a VDI box and a pipe, then getting the jetting right and the bomb will be seeing your taillight. I have read that the 750 will take the lead in the first 100 yards or so stock, but the 800 will soon catch it. This is both machines being equal.....break in, stock tires, stock cdi box.

thats about right .with just a copper head or a dynatec you can get them by about one and a half in the 300 foot race but in the 500 foot its whoever gets the hole shot, stock tires are a must ...

This whole discussion boils down to one thing for me...Kawi blew it big time by not releasing an 800 EFI Brute Force that would go head to head (stock) with the Bomb 800. They could have taken the air out of the sails of Bomb. It is war right now with Big Bore utes, and having a true 800 Ute in a manufacturers lineup with fuel injection will be the new standard.

Big mistake in my opinion.

I dont understand what all the kawasaki faithful is complaining about. I understand EFi is starting to become a big concern. And maybe the "cornering" issues need to be taken care of sooner or later. But overall, the Brute 750 has only been out for 2 years!!! They have to ATLEAST wait 3 years to release a top of the line 800 EFI Power House. The 750 (with a lil money to fix the nervousness cornering feel) is one of, possibly best, quad out there.

Good point JJON,

Alas, the model is still fairly new. I think that in 08' though, they better come out with at least EFI. My Brute can be so darned hard to start when it is cold.

i think the bomb 800 is a hell of a bike even though it has a higher (stock) top end speed. I still think that the brute 750 is still the BEST.
