Default KFX700s are fast!

I'm an old Kawi guy and glad to hear this. Theres a guy I know who has a KFX700 but he refuse to race me even with the KFX 440, so its hard for me to respect the KFX700. I'll take your guys word for it. He MIGHT let me ride it sometime and then I'll get to be the judge.

I don't think hes a very good rider which is most of it, but he hasn't opened the motor up either.Hes not a gear head and I told him I would help put the mods on but he just says "she can hurt me just the way it is." Thats cool. I 'll be looking for another 700 WHO WANTS TO RACE! Later guys

Yea, everyone talks bad on the 700's. Im tellin ya, a few mods will open it up. I can beat lightly modded 450's with mine and its heavily moded. Only thing I dont have is cams and a clutch kit and I will whoop some ***. Of course, I do get beat. But its weird seein a big tank like the vforce beatin a 450. I was sellin mine but I took the for sale sign off of her. I couldn't bare to sell it. I would miss it dearly. Im glad Im keepin it. So now there will be more days of kickin some **** in Kansas!!! Go Green!

You should talk to the boys over at kawieriders.

They are working on a 916 stroker!! It's currently possible for 960cc's!!!!

Expect to see 80-100RWHP in the next year!

Here's a 900 stroker kit. They are running 44mm Carbs with Alcohol. It still isn't running 100% on alcohol. They expect 75 RWHP when they can get enough Alky into there. Right now it has 70RWHP and running 14:1 on alcohol on motor only. I guess they need it in the 10:1 range and that is still on the lean side. Eventually there will also be Nitrous.

900STROKER1
900STROKER2
900STROKER3

With enough money you can make any bike fast. I would like to see a banshee or LT500 beat one of these when they get them running right!!

Well, ill tell you guys what, those things are fast, i underestimated them for a long time, but i can see for an auto they haul some serious ***. I mean, i still beat them on the road, but on the dirt is where that thing shines like heaven. The thing always hooks up, barely ever spins and i am left there spinning first through 5th. If i had good tires it would be a closer race on the dirt but it would still take me.it is insane how they just take off and keep pulling away, because they get the power to the ground. I love the double thump they make off of idle too, i just love that v twin. On the road though where both of us hook up, haha, i made him really upset when i flew by him in 4th gear when he was almost topped out.

I let him get ahead for a little but not by much and i was still on it quite a bit but then i let it loose and flew through 3rd and hit fourth and in the mid range i flew by him and then hit 5th and ate him up...I swear, they are so comfy, easy to ride, so torquey...damn. I mean the first time i raced one the kid was kind of a puss and didnt like gettin in open casue he rode a honda 100 and the 700 was his dads. And i got the total wrong impression of them and i whooped it into the ground. But i know those things are amazing and i feel so dumb for makin fun of them now. I need new tires...

The 700 v force is fast i agree. It is those itp holeshot tires that provide great hook up. i go riding with a 660r v-force , sometimes a 450r. We are pretty close to even but that is when the 700 is on hard dirt and the rest of us are on soft dirt every one except for me have after market tires and we are all dead even. The reason for that is that the drag strip that we race on on the right side the dirt is lose because that is where we always start and so he move over on the hard dirt to get more grip because he can not start in secoud like we can to lessen on how much we spin out. But when ground conditions are the same like everyone is on hard dirt the 700 is tied for last with the 660r. it is a great trail machine. i would buy it if i would just ride trails but i love comfort and it doesn't have any. shocks suck and they put the gas tank on the very end of the quad so it is behind the shock so when you have a full tank of gas it is like haveing a pasenger on the back and that is why it is a great wheelie machine.
But ever quad has it's problems no quad is the greatest.

So RubberDucky, what quad do you consider to be more comfortable than the KFX700?

It's true they spring it a little tight from the factory, turn down the preload and the 700 is the cadillac of them all.
