Default KFX 700 vs Bomb 800

I've raced a bomb 800 two times and beat it every time by 3 quads plus.
The rider was close to 300lbs. It was a stock machine, and I'm running a open air box with EHS air box mod and 170 jets F/R at 4,300 feet. I'm 240 lbs and look at my sig for wheels and tires, exhaust etc. I'm heavier than stock and still can beat a stock Bomb with a BF750. The stock KFX 700 would be close but the Bomb would win.

Well the last time we went to Busco Beach, in Goldsboro NC, there was a Outlander 800 there that was smoking everyone in the drags. It had 26 in holeshots on it and a pipe and it was smoking any utility there and most of the sport atvs out there, too. The only things that beat it were a heavily modded 660 Raptor and a heavily modded TRX 250r. The Brute forces were getting beat by 700 Prairies consistantly. The only utes that came close to the Outlander was the Prairies and one Brute. The V-Forces were turds, as 400exs and z400s killed them in drags. The V-forces are slower than the Outlander stock and slower than most sport quads (YFZ, TRX 450R, LT450, z400 and most 400exs), too!

Well you are far from stock, so to say you beat a stock 800 isn't saying much.

Looking at everyone's signatures on this thread it looks like I might be the only one here that owns a KFX 700 (two in the garage now next to the BF750). Both are stock for now and I haven't had a chance to chew up an Outlander or a Renegade...guess they're all scared. the V-Force is a crazy fast machine that doesn't back down from anything. They Can-am has some good marketing going for it but I'll save the $2K and buy another Kawasaki. 4x4 vs 4x2 and the added weight on the Can-am...I'll bet on the V-Force. Let's not forget that the rider can make a difference too. Everybody thinks it's all about the quad...just jump on, thumb the throttle and the most HP wins ~ right. Takes more than just machine to push past 70+mph. I ride in Pennsylvania so it's hard to find a lot of riders gathered in big open areas lookin for a little friendly drag competition. I'm riding at Rausch Creek this weekend. They actually have a couple of good tracks and straight-aways for racing. I'll try to coax a shy little Can-am out of hiding and put it to the test.

All I can tell you buddy is Good luck! I have watched the VForce and brutes get destryed by stock outlanders. This was on hard packed and loose dirt. I think you will be in for a surprise. Oh and the Can-Ams don't have the notorious problems with belts slipping due to getting we t that the brutes and prairies have. The Kawi has a great motor and is nice but is considerably less powerful than the Can-Am. V-forces almost always lose drag races to piped 400ex's as far as I have seen. I am so not impressed with the V-forces!

A piped 400 ex does not stand a change against a V. Ive run several and it wasnt close at all.

I can only speak from experience with the two V-Force 700s i currently own. The Outlander is heavier, it's a 4x4 (wake up guy...) and you're talking about 5.8825 HP difference (700 vs 800 cc). You might want to have your eyes checked if you think you saw an Outlander dust a V-Force cuz seeing (i.e. watching from the sidelines) is a lillte bit different than being in the game. Take the two grand you'll save with the Kawasaki, mod it out to the max and the game isn't even close. I'll bring the helmet cam along this weekend but I probably won't get any footage of an Outlander or Renegade cuz they'll all be behind me!

I guess I should clarify (and yes...I had to look this up) - 1 horsepower is equal to 15 - 17 cc or vice versa

Well, I watched after I absolutely smoked a Vforce with my 450R, so I was in the game a little. I was barely out running the Outlander myself. These were 300 ft drags, and this has happened multiple times, its no fluke! I wasn't the only one that witnessed this, as there was a sense of shock amongst some of the other guys (maybe 20-30 people). I know what I saw and I know who I beat. It doesn't really matter, to me if you believe it or not. Really if we are getting all technical, the best 700cc sport quad is the new Raptor anyway. I have seen those stock outrun some heavily modified quads (VForce, YFZ's and TRX 450R's). I hate getting dragged into these arguements with people on the net. Line em up. I really wish that I had a video camera that weekend that I went. It all doesn't really matter to me, as I don't own a V-Force and never will own one.

I would put money on the 800. 50hp v-force vs 62hp bomb. 516 dry weight vs 640 dry weight. Do the math, equal power to weight ratio, and bomb has a better clutching set up stock for stock.
