I just bought a new 2006 Bayou 250 4x2 I'm having problems with it stalling, replaced the plug, ran ok for 15-30 mins then the same thing. It seems it might be filing out the plug,stalling and backfiring. any help would be appreciated.

 

When it's stalled, do you have spark to the plug? When it's stalled is there fuel in the carb? (turn the carb drain screw and see if fuel runs out the drain tube.) Could be a bunch of stuff. Check these and let us know what you find out.

 

Yes it was running and starting but it keeps trying to stall out at times and seems to keep filing out the plugs .Put a new plug runs fine about 15-20 mins then starts again.

 

is it still under warrenty if so id take it back to the dealer and tell them to fix it. it sounds like it is running too rich and carbon fouling the plugs. though it could be a bad coil too not making a good enough spark.

 

Yes its still under warrenty and I am taking it to the dealer tomorrow. thanks for your help

 

like someone said earlier it's probably that fuel isn't going into the carb

 

Well took it back they tore it down found out cause it sat so long on the lot with gas it in it had dirt n gunk in the carb. They fixed no problem. So make sure ya check how long they been sitting on the lots with gas in them before ya buy them........lol But it runs awesome now!!!
