another option, go to your local war surplus store and get some morter tubes, they work great and are cheap have screw on lids!

ALZTAV - I used very large TieWraps & pop riveted a short piece of aluminimum from the PVC tube to a convienent place on the frame to keep it from spinning when you tighten the wing nut on the compression fitting.

guys instead of pvc you can get abs pipe at most plumbing supply houses and it is already black not to mention it takes a lick alot better than pvc. cost would be bout the same. bein a plumber helps now and again

Dude, where were you when I needed you? I have been looking for black pipe and all I could find was white PVC. I knew I had seen black pipe but did not know what to call it or where it could be found. Is there somewhere like Lowes or HomeDepot that I can buy this stuff?

not sure bout your area but around here you gotta go to the supply houses. but your handy work looks good and your right if it is together right it wont leak. mobile homes are still piped in abs usually so if you have a fab place for them around or a trailer grave yard ya might get what ya need for a steal??!!
