question for those with copperhead cdi
#1
well rode my bf 750i with the cdi for a hour the other night ran good on map 2 backfired once at high speed. just got a message today that velocity device is sending me a usb cable because the map 2 was bad. did they just cause me to hurt my quad or should i be alright

So do you notice a huge diffence in power with the VDI? I'm on the fence right now whether I want to drop the $400 on one. Let me know how you like it after you update your map and ride a few days with it.

Do you need to rejet with the vdi and also how much of a top end speen gain will you get i can run about 69 down hill and about 64-65 on straight away my buddy has a dyna fs and moose modular and his will go easily about 74-76 (Can't have him going faster than me any more it sucks!!) and he hasn't had a spit or sputter out of his combination with the moose and the dyna Little help would be great before i spend that hunk of change

i've had both the dyna on a 700p and the vdi on the brute. the dyna was not up to quility control it actualy shorted out and cought on fire in the quad.vdi is stone reliable and the adjustabilty is awsome i wouldn't want to ride my quad with out it

i just found out the second half of one program was faulted, so i don't know about top speed. it didn;t spit or sputter at low speeds. the usb cable will be here in a week so i will let you all know what i think. the brute didn;t have no problems pulling wheelies with the 27 in mudzillas on it. gonna try to keep that to a minimum though

well I have been pretty lucky as far as the spit and sputter on low end I never had it on my 05 model and it will do wheelies all day long with stock cdi. But I would really like to hear some before and after speed gains on this VDI before i get one any help would be great
