#1
is this exhaust to loud or is it not much louder that a white brothers
the only reason i am considering a dg rcm exhaust is because of the $139 dollar price tag comapred to whitebrother $259 price tag...
i was just woundering if anyone had an opinion about the loudness diffrence between the two

Do not buy a dg pipe. I had one and they dont clear the tires in the back. I broke my tip off and dg said is was not their problem. I told them they should test the pipes before they sell them. So i was out the $140. oh i will never buy a dg product.

exotic, the same thing happened to me on my mojave. I was in the dunes jumping and when the bike came down the pipe hit the right rear tire and snapped. The rest of the time i rode without a silencer at all, just the header pipe. Man was that loud. I don't really think that the pipe made that much of a difference anyway for 170 bucks. I threw the pieces of the silencer away and used the dg header pipe and my stock silencer. It's a lot quieter now and i didn't notice a decrease in power. So i wouldn't buy dg exhuast at all ever again.

Well i do understand you guys feelings on the the dg after it got destroyed, but heres mine.It totally woke my 230 up.When you put the dg on also add a uni air filter and you will have more revs all the way, more speed, and it doesn't wind out.Great pipe.I would check about it hitting the disc though.

I bought the DG and noticed the clearance problem too. To fix this I removed the mounting bolt and moved the pipe mount to the inside of the frame, used an oversized nut for a spacer( 1/2-5/8) to keep the pipe further inboard, and ran the bolt in from the inside. It works great and it does not hit anymore. Its a good pipe, you just need to mount it differently.
