I can't get mine on! Is there some trick to Kawasaki or something? I got the DG alloy nerfs.. Any help apprechiated.

I got the stock Suzuki Z400 set for my KFX400. . .they bolted right up and I didn't even have to drill a single hole. . .

 

no tricks..the DG just suck hehehe

 

i bought tusk off road nerf bars from rocky mountain and they bolted right up! never really liked dg set up.

 

well explain what is wrong actually and I could tell you a trick or 2 to getting them on because on my ds650 I had trouble connecting them together in the middle but get backt o me and I'll help u out.

did you get em mounted up and working yet? dgs setup does suck and none of there stuff that i ever bought was good quality or lined up correctly.........when i called dg they told me that if the nerfs didnt fit correctly to have me hold one side and have a friend hold the other side of the nerf and pull real hard to stretch them out...........to get mine to work i had to get diffirent u bolts for the front and what i did was get the front bolted up and then i took a pry bar and pried the backs out untill i got them lines up with the foot pegs......good luck with it its gonna take you a little while lol

 

My DG's gave me hell when I was trying to get them on, then I had that BAJA belly skid plate and I ended up have to cut that to get it to fit around my nerfs.

 

I will try to get some pics up tomorrow. I was planning on calling DG, but maybe you guys will have a solution. Haven't tried using a pry bar yet... maybe that will work. Hmmmmmm, well I like the looks of them, just not the fit. I'll try to get the pics up. What is a good site to put some pics on when you do get them? (Free) Thanks for the input, later,
